I'm up to 22 right now, probably going to avoid reading threads until I catch up (already chanced upon an annoying wikipedia spoiler for Francis/Black Rose... bleh).
I found out about this series because I was watching 'Ashita no Joe' (which is a boxing anime I heard about from watching 'Hajime no Ippo') a classic on AnimeSuki and since there was only 9 eps I happened to look at the 'next' and it was 'Nadja' and I thought "what the heck, why not?"
Oddly enough, series that only 1 version exists of are more appealing because then you don't have to choose which group you want to try out since there's only 1 option.
This is really great, based on the drawing style and theme I thought it might be an older anime but the show-offy 3d graphics the producers throw into the opening and now and then (like the treasure hunting episode) reflect that it was more modern as I found out.
I really like the music and classic themes. They have complex meaningful plotlines to each episode. I'm always surprised how little I am into it, so few episodes go by while the plot seems to progress in character developments and relationships moreso than in most anime.
